JUBEOdesign is a bespoke design studio crafting architectural elements and furniture inspired by iconic art, architecture, and antiquity. Through our Heritage Series and Makers Collective, we tell the stories of iconic (and sometimes endangered) historic buildings by transforming their spirit into lasting works of design.

A concept several years in the making as they pursued individual education and career, Bryan Painter and his son Brandon have teamed up to create a unique experience for those who appreciate fine design and craftsmanship.

The team is leaning into Bryan’s 25+ years of award-winning renovation and craftsmanship, as well as Brandon’s extensive experience in creative and brand development to bring this concept to market. As founder and CEO of the companies RETROPROS, RETROCHEM, and PLASTER DYNAMICS, Bryan and his teams have participated in several high-profile renovation projects and received three excellence awards over the last five years for Outstanding Work by a Craftsperson from the Historic Kansas City Foundation. 

In addition to working with his father on some of these projects, Brandon’s marketing campaigns over his first decade in the workforce have been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Buzzfeed, USA Today and others. 

With great respect and admiration for the original designers and craftsman, JUBEOdesign explores well-known structures to identify brilliant and memorable composites that are incorporated into unique designs.  Each concept will be documented on social media from design through production with origin, history, sketches, video, and photography to provide a comprehensive description of journey. A final complementary multimedia element will be delivered with every piece that patrons can cherish and/or share to validate the craftsmanship.

Through rich storytelling and deep knowledge, we invite you to join us on each of these exciting adventures as we pay tribute to past artists and craftsman, while carving out a bit of our own history.
